Bergen op Zoom (Dutch pronunciation: [ˌbɛrɣə(n) ɔp ˈsoːm] (listen); called Berrege [ˈbɛrəʝə] in the local dialect) is a municipality and a city located in the south of the Netherlands. It is situated 30 km north of the city of Antwerp, 35 km west of Breda and 50 km south of Rotterdam.
